Lake Catholic, through a combined effort from its faculty and Alumni Office, is pleased to host its Annual Career Day and is seeking speakers willing to participate. The event, which has expanded to two days, will be Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26.
We are excited to be offering our students the opportunity to learn and explore the various career paths that are available to them beyond Lake Catholic.
We have adjusted the format to enhance the opportunity for student engagement with the presenters.
On Monday we will offer the Career Fair in the gym along with professional discussion panels. These panels will be made up of three or four individuals within a particular field. For example: Education - Principal, teacher, guidance counselor, speech pathologist, etc. The goal will be to allow students to register for sessions that pertain to careers that they have an interest in learning more about. These panels will include introductions by each professional, some specific questions for you (insights into your profession, academic/professional requirements, things to consider, etc.), and some Q&A time from the students in attendance.
The discussion panels will be offered on Tuesday as well to give the students the opportunity to attend multiple sessions.
